only negative was being 2nd floor unit and the noisy folks on 3rd floor above. you can hear every footstep and they had toddlers running wild all hours of the night / morning / day. otherwise the unit is perfect for vacations.

where to start wasn't supposed to check in till 4pm they sent a txt at noon said it was ready get there everything perfect as described onle a 3 min walk to the beach one of the only places that allows golfcarts on there property and the permanent residents that live there make you feel so welcome and at home will deff book agin and be back

Pics don’t do the location justice. Super easy walk to beach. Grateful for the elevator. Was neat and clean. I did miss that we had to request linens for couch bed as we had 7 in party but thankful I packed a sheet and blanket. Beds are a little harder than we like but we always pack an air mattress so we adjusted ok. Loved the wet bar and the skylight that aren’t mentioned in the ad. Overall very happy with the place. Thanks for an easy stay and allowing us to add on a night!

The condo looked just like the photos. There was an area close to the elevator to rinse off sand which made keeping the place clean easier. From the elevator to the beach was less than 50 steps!

Perfect place for active family, likely ideal for beach worshippers of any circumstance. Not luxurious but great bang for buck. Practically every convenience of home in the kitchen, excess of dishes/utensils, pots/pans, clean linens and plenty of pillows, washer/dryer worked perfect, AC great, ice maker kept up. Pictures accurate to reality, has a ‘cabin’ feel, slightly dated but not way out of time, thoughtful details. Many pest control efforts apparent, we only ran across one dying palmetto bug in the tub, none in kitchen. Pool was clean/relaxing, hot tub was super hot, lots of families around but no audible/visible drama, no belligerent drunks or drugs apparent. Security visibly present, patrolling at any hour of the night. Mattresses weren’t plush but fit the bill for beach-worn tykes. Couldn’t hear the ocean but felt beachy with a great balcony breeze. I forgot my laptop bag in the condo long after checkout and Jim answered promptly to get me back in. Great stay, totally worth it.

The property was amazing overall! We had a great time. But important to note: The porch did smell like dog pee and inside there was a damp pet smell. Two important items were missing for us, pot holders and a dish rag. The carpet probably need’s removed because it’s old and impossible to get or keep clean at beach…Don’t forget your own dishwasher tabs, dish soap, laundry soap, extra toilet paper, etc. This place was actually great and affordable overall, but is not crisp and new. Great location, pools, etc. I bought a can of Lysol and sprayed the carpet, etc. Very spacious and a great workout climbing the 2 flights of stairs, close to both pools and close to the beach! Perfect for a large family, kids, etc. We also cooked in daily in the kitchen.

We love the Brigadune. We've stayed here many times but this was first time at beach level. Made it much easier moving in for the week and going to the beach. Will want to rent again in the future. Unit was in great condition and very relaxing. Thanks for making our vacation so memorable.

We stay in Shore Drive area often and have utilized several different vacation options throughout the years. The options never disappoint. This was also a great stay and will certainly visit again! Plenty of space for everyone and centrally located in the center of Shore Drive.

This condo was wonderful! Recently updated and decorated so cute! The outdoor porch has a comfy couch to sit and drink your coffee in the morning. I would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay here ! Check-in was a breeze. The unit is spacious with a well equipped kitchen. We cooked many meals at the condo and ate them on the balcony with the beautiful ocean view. There are chairs , umbrellas and many other items for you to use on the beach. The beds were comfortable , everything was very clean . The pools and lazy river were very nice . The complex itself was very clean and well kept also and the staff was always very friendly. Definitely a nice, relaxing place to stay !

Only thing I can say that wasn’t positive is that there wasn’t any cleaning supplies or trash bags so we had to purchase these things. Maybe that’s typical for airb&b, not sure since it’s my first rental.

Overall a great stay! One of the 2 elevators was down almost the entire week so the wait was not favorable since we were on the 17th floor. With the amount of sand that gets everywhere it was unfortunate that the vacuum supplied wasn’t very good quality and just blew the sand around. I have a crawling infant so it was not a clean environment for him to crawl around freely. Overall - amazing location and the condo was great for our needs.

only 1 disappointing thing the couch bed was uncomfortable could use updated bedspreads and more extra blankets but all in all would stay again very close to ocean and Ocean Annie's was great.Salt water march was beautiful.

The most outstanding thing was the customer service from grand strand rentals. Everyone there was very helpful, professional and easy to deal with. We had an issue with none of the tvs working when we arrived and help was sent out within the hour and the guys that came were pleasant, and knowledgeable and corrected the issues promptly. The cleaners they use did a outstanding job of preparing the unit for our arrival as well. The unit was very clean and ready on time. Dealing with grande strand rentals was an extremely easy and good experience from start to finish. Kudos to everyone at grand strand rentals, jobs well done.

Great property and proximity to beach. Comfortable property I would say the linen service is stingy on linens and towels. We had to buy additional towels no fitted sheet for master bedroom bed had to keep making the bed daily to keep a flat sheet on the bed. Needed a dust pain to help with sweeping the sand accumulation Family would stay again at this property despite the above inconveniences

We have been coming to this property for the last 2 years. It is really convenient location since we have grandchildren that are young - and it is right across from the pool. Short walk to the beach ... Plenty of space and nice area under the cottage to sit and relax. Would recommend the property!

We had 6 adults and 2 children for our family vacation. The condo and property were very clean. We were very comfortable. The view from the balcony was beautiful. The owners thought of everything, the kitchen was well stocked, and are very generous to share their beach toys, chairs, and umbrellas.

Everything was very nice. Not to fancy. Just very nice and comfortable. The teenage girls, age 19, breathed a sye of relief and picked their room immediately. Then we walked to the beach in no time flat. We had a very nice time.

Apartment, building and amenities were perfect for our family. The extra items in storage- chairs, umbrella, toys, etc - were appreciated. Easy access to pools and beach. Plenty of things in walking distance or short drive. For future renters, I recommend reserving beach umbrellas and chairs ahead of time as they get booked quickly. I recommend bringing your own linens, towels and pillows. While everything else was good quality and comfortable, these could use a little update. Overall excellent family vacation rental and would recommend. Quick and responsive to questions.

I put together a last minute Memorial Day weekend. The house was great! Everything we needed was there. Plenty of space and restrooms for all! Great decks and grill provided. Located in a great area with pools and fishing. The kids loved it. They are ready to return at any time! Thank you for a great family weekend.

We had linens, lots of kitchen supplies, plenty of paper products for the week- paper towels, toilet paper. I received an email the day before check in to make sure to bring bed linens if I hadn’t paid for them. Never saw an option to pay, so I took sheets with me. That turned out to be unnecessary. Not a bad thing, just strange communication from the management company. Didn’t get a response from the property owner before leaving for the drive down. No problem there! The dryer was new and didn’t work since the electric wasn’t hooked up properly. We just line dried towels and clothes- no problem! The neighborhood was nice with a couple of restaurants in walking distance. Beach access was close to walk too! Nice place for a family too. 3 adults and 4 adult sized children and we had plenty of beds and hangout space. Would definitely go back to Beach Cottage 56

We took our annual beach trip and it did not disappoint! We loved the house. Very clean and there were no issues. It also had tons of space and all the basic amenities we needed. The pool was great to have as well and we were super close to the beach. I would definitely book this property again!

Nice place close to the beach. Just a five to ten minute walk. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice. Even had gas grills available in two spots
There was a flyer in our check-in packet that told us pest control had to be allowed in on the 2nd Thursday of every month. No worries. Then I noticed a couple of small roaches scurrying around the kitchen an evening later. I know it's hard to get roaches out of a complex like that. But still not nice to have them there. May need to up the frequency of pest control visits. The neighbors complained a few times about our noise level. We tried to accommodate but if someone has small kids they may end up fielding complaints about noise from older neighbors who apparently don't want any noise at all. This is a really small thing but no hot pads in the kitchen.
